In my opinion, the most useful job, also probably the most unbalanced job was the Samurai.

My reasons for this are because throughout the entire game it is extremely easy to get hold of Gil, this makes Gil toss easy to perform and since each 1 Gil piece deals one damage, get a large enough abount of Gil and 3 Samurai's and bye bye bosses!

A little unbalanced I think tongue.gif

I thought the Monk was pretty awesome! He attacked twice with big power so he can do major damage.

I really liked the Monk (because the fact you could hit twice) and the Samurai (because the fact that you could damage the enemy with gold).

Although I might wait until I obtain FF V: Advance and see the new jobs to get a second opinion.

i'm playing FFV now, and so far i'm liking Red Mage the best, because you can attack with a sword, cast white and black magic! what more do you want? i also like Monk for the reasons stated above, double attack and each blow is powerful ^^, thief can be useful, summoner imo is kinda pants in the beggining(i only have crappy summons so don't hate me D: ), yep.. that's it i guess

I mostly used Red Mage...

Good for healing and dealing heavy magick damage.
And then, I let some warrior to deal hand-to-hand damage, or to protect the other chars, if they're weak.

Red mage is a nice class, but maybe a little to generalized for my liking.

Personally I prefer to delegate a single member for each task which is why I like jobs like Sage which can use both types of magic (Black and White). Not sure if Sage is actually in FFV - been a while since I played, can't remember tongue.gif
